Slavic burial mounds (kurgans)

Reconstruction of the early medieval West Slavic burial mounds (kurgans) from Gahrow, Germany. Despite of their shapes’ diversity, the funeral urns found in them were of the same type. Location of the graves in a forest on the drawing above is hypothetical.
